SUMMARY:Lakeside Escape: Women’s Retreat
DESCRIPTION:New this year we have invited Theresa Eggleston\, a certified Biblical Storyteller by the Network of Biblical storytellers International (NBSI). Theresa will wow us with her storytelling ability and help us find meaning as we walk through key stories in the Bible with her. We will have more time for interaction with each other and time to explore Asbury’s sacred grounds. \nTheresa graduated from Wesley Theological Seminary with her Masters in Pastoral Care and Counseling in 2016. Theresa believes that storytelling is for all ages as it was our basic form of communication before anyone knew how to read or write. She tells stories with her shoes off because in Exodus 3 God tells Moses to remove the sandals from his feet because the grounds on which he is standing is holy.
